Thanks guys. As much as I'd like to think that's a quick sketch, I got a little ahead of myself this time It's all good though, treat it as a sketch since anything is changable.

Now that's quite a mix of genres. Love the dreadnought, and the work on the hanging unicorn tapestry. Beautifully done!

Wow, spectacular picture. If that's the sketch then I can't wait to see the final. As said above, nice mix of genres.

Quote: For those who are interested here are our suggested changes. Rainville, We would like the stairs to continue all the way down even if they have to spiral or bend so that they stay center frame. Please change the unicorn to a Viking gripping beast http://www.northvegr.org/lore/history_v ... fig005.jpgas there is a copyright issue with using the unicorn that way. could we have a few more cards even if just vague outlines floating higher in the sky.? Jason we need to change the male character's outfit too look less D&D and more classic medieval, http://www.siue.edu/COSTUMES/TEXT_INDEX.HTMLTry plates #19 through #33... some elements from the 14th through 15th centuries, though less ornate.

It's an awesome sketch, and it looks even better with the revised banners and such. (I was also interested in the in-progress sketch that showed the perspective lines. My only art background is in cartooning and I haven't done stuff like that before...)

Why can't there be a unicorn (just not The Unicorn)?

I'd also consider less armor and more medieval noble clothing. And, why do females in fantasy art always have to look uncomfortable?

What Jason said; We originally were going to do a modern dress and a medevil dress but were doing this quickly, remember Jason Rainville did this whole image in less than a weeks time. And that's why we lover him.

Any GM who wants to blend the two settings is certainly free to do so, but LoGaS might as well be different so that GMs have more options to pick from.

"Stairways between worlds" would be an interesting way to travel- especially if you could be pushed off into one of those worlds- fight scenes on Escher Staircases with worlds tumbling between....
