Rite Publishing has a well established stable of qualified, talented, and reliable freelancers but sometimes we have more ideas that we have free time.
Writing Submissions: Rite Publishing currently accepts unsolicited queries for paid work only for the Pathways Ezine, as we tend to recruit from our established freelancers. You can find the submission guidelines on this page!
Art Query: if you want to create artwork for Rite Publishing, you can start out by submitting a query email about illustrating a cover for our Pathways e-zine. Unsolicited inquiries resulting in a commission are paid $50.00 USD for the cover illustration (full commercial rights). You can check out examples of our Pathways cover images HERE.
If you do send us a query letter please contact us via
Email: miranda (at) ritepublishing (dot) com
Subject Line Pathways Cover Inquiry
You must include a link to your online portfolio you are also welcome to list any other tabletop RPG companies you have worked for. DO NOT attach images to the email. We will review your query e-mail, and if we want to commission a cover from you, we will contact you with a description of the type of monster we want, though we often leave the background image up to the artist.
Artists are paid via Paypal once the final is approved (after initial sketch and two rounds of corrections). We use a different artist every issue so we are always giving an opportunity to new artists, and have commissioned over 50 different covers for Pathways.
Special Note: If you don't follow this format it will be assumed that you could not follow directions if given a commission and so will not be considered as a potential artist.
